Sidekick and AI assistants

Workflow Trigger Extensions exposes a read-only data extension to Shopify's Sidekick assistant, so you can ask about your triggers in plain language from anywhere in the Shopify admin.

What you can ask

• "Which triggers do I have set up?" - lists triggers and whether each is ready to fire.
• "Why isn't my price change trigger working?" - reports the permission, setting, and sync state for that trigger.
• "What fired in the last day?" - recent event history.
• "Show me that failed event" - the detail of a single event.
• "What permissions have I granted?" - the granted permissions and what each unlocks.
• "Has my order data finished syncing?" - sync status for each resource.

What it can access

Sidekick can read: trigger definitions and setup status, event history and event detail, aggregate statistics, granted permissions, and sync status.

Answers include a deep link to the exact page where a setting lives, so you can go straight from the diagnosis to the fix.
